Chennai: Aarti Ramakrishnan, co-founder and Chief of Operations of Crayon Data, was recently awarded the Woman Entrepreneur Award from the Rotary Club of Madras East (RCME).
Every year on the occasion of International Women’s Day (March 8th), the RCME recognizes successful women who create a mark in their fields through their enterprises and create social impact. The purpose of the award is to celebrate women entrepreneurs who prove to be excellent role models for many others.
Aarti was presented the award by the chief guest, Frau Karin Stoll, Consul General, Chennai, Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany. Stoll also spoke on the occasion about Indo-German business relations, women empowerment in both Germany and India and why it’s critical to recognize women achievers who inspire future generations.
