What is the most exciting or challenging thing you’ve learned?

Crayon has successfully built an environment that is conducive to learning. One, by giving us the freedom to explore multiple ways to solve a problem. And two, by adopting a flat organizational structure that makes it easy for us to reach out to a very diverse bunch of Crayons

My role at Crayon requires me to communicate on a regular basis with multiple stakeholders. The key is to present the output in a simple manner, no matter how complex the inputs may be. I believe this is the most valuable skill I learn and build on every single day at work.

What is it like working with Crayons?

Crayons live and breathe our value, The mission is the boss.  Being in the early stages of my career, this statement has had the biggest positive impact on my experience in working with other Crayons. It gives you an opportunity to step up, express opinions and take charge, irrespective of how young you may be.

What are some of the skills/tools you get to work with in your role?

Despite coming from a non-tech background, my role at Crayon has allowed me to get my hands dirty with data. Apart from the standard MS Office tools, I am getting familiar with analysing data through SQL/Python, and also soon hope to leverage data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.

What kind of support do you receive from your teammates/the company?

Crayon has truly instilled a culture of flexibility across the organization, and I view this as the biggest form of support that a company can extend to its employees. There’s freedom for us to figure out what works best for us, as long as we stick to timelines and deliver results.
