Crayons of lockdown - vijay
In the newest edition of #CrayonsOfLockdown, we have WFH veteran, sales guru and part time gardener Vijay Anand who talks about his WFH experience and gives us a sneak peek into his newly acquired skill.
How does it feel to work from home on an extended basis?
Having clocked 6 years of the smallest commute to work, I’m sort of a WFH vetran! What has changed of course is my wife also starting to WFH, which has brought some existential challenges to my routine. So, I’m looking forward to her going back to the office again!
What do you do to stay productive when working from home?
Indulge in an assortment of tea! Usually start my day with a green tea, then a large pot of lemon and ginger in the afternoon and round it off with a masala chai an hour before dinner
How do you de-stress yourself while working?
Meditation at the start of the day, HIIT training sometime in the afternoon and more recently, video-bombing my wife’s work calls. Not sure if it’s de-stressing for her though.
What’s one new skill you’ve learnt while being on lock down?
Gardening. Trying to grow our own veggies. Those who follow me on Instagram, be warned! loads of veggies (interspersed with english roses) stories on your way!
