February 11, 2022Santiago Duro Tomas has joined Crayon Data to nurture, lead, and drive client relationships in the Middle East.
Santiago is an accomplished executive with over two decades of experience across strategy, operations, and technology. He has managed established operations and launched new businesses and start-ups in multicultural organizations across North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
A MSEE from Valencia Polytechnic University in Spain, he also completed his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles. Santiago’s career began at Ericsson Inc as a software engineer. In the 23 years since, he has also worked with Texas Instruments, Amazon, and ING Bank in various leadership roles. His latest stint was with KBZ Bank, Myanmar, as Chief of Staff/Fintech Lead.
Santiago’s areas of expertise include:
- Establishing and managing areas across business, operations, and technology
- Developing commercial and marketing strategies, including top line and customer acquisition
- Defining strategic and commercial partnerships
- Deployment and management of global digital platforms from concept to launch of new products and services
With the combination of his extensive experience in the financial services and technology sectors, and his program management and leadership skills, Santiago will lead Crayon’s program and engagement management.
