Entrepreneurs must have the persistence gene, believes Crayon Data’s founder and CEO, Suresh Shankar. In Forbes India‘s Startup Fridays podcast, he shared traits that will help founders stay grounded during the highs and help them sail through the lows.

He also suggests that all entrepreneurs get a dog. Because “no matter what kind of day you had… when you go back home, your dog will be happy to see you”.
